I spent three hours this morning at the North Hollywood Metro Station. I distributed about 250 gospel tracts, before climbing atop my stepladder to preach. I read John 18-21, stopping from time to time to preach the law and the gospel from the text.
After an hour of preaching, a young man sat down on the concrete planter twenty feet in front of me. Almost immediately, he began to make snide comments under his breath. Eventually I would engage the young man and, sadly, like almost every Darwinian evolutionist atheist I run into on the streets, he could not give a single straight answer for anything he believed. He believed in evolution, by faith. Yet his faith was very weak because it was built on a foundation of sinking sand--a foundation of subjectivity, conjecture, and lies. His faith was very weak because, as Scripture clearly attests (Romans 1:18-25), he didn't believe anything he was saying.
