Last night I sent the following letter to the property manager of an abortion clinic.
Dear Steve (or the appropriate representative of Moss Group),
My name is Tony Miano. I am a resident of Santa Clarita, CA. I am a retired deputy sheriff, having served with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department for 20 years. I am a Christian. And I oppose the premeditated killing, with malice aforethought, of human beings (murder) -- all human beings -- regardless of gender, nationality, religion, sexual preference, socioeconomic status, political affiliation, or age. This means I oppose the murder of unborn children, through the barbaric and evil practice of abortion.
The property you manage at 10200 Sepulveda Boulevard Mission Hills, CA, is occupied by several businesses. One business in the building is Family Planning Associates Medical Group (FPAMG) -- an abortion clinic. According to at least one technician who works for FPAMG at your Sepulveda Boulevard property, there are days during which as many as 50 unborn children are summarily executed.
I've spent many hours outside the building pleading with men and women not to murder their children. I've begged technicians who work for the abortuary not to participate in the murder of unborn children -- to quit their jobs and to stop depositing money into their accounts that drip with the blood of innocents.
Today, I learned from one of your tenants that they were not informed prior to signing their lease that an abortuary was doing business in the building. Your company may not be under any legal obligation to make such a disclosure to new tenants. But to fail to make such a disclosure to prospective tenants is reprehensible and immoral.
This email is written to serve notice that I will do what I can, within the limitations of the law and in keeping with my Christian faith (which commands me to love others), to peacefully (but not quietly) make it known to as many people as I can that Moss Group participates in the murder of unborn children by leasing property to abortuaries. These efforts may extend beyond standing in front of the building on a public sidewalk to writing letters to tenants at your various properties, and to the use of social media to make the public aware of your company's participation in the murder of the unborn.
I neither desire nor seek anyone's harm. As a Christian and retired deputy sheriff, I would never threaten anyone's person or property. But I must raise my voice for those who have no voice. I must defend those who cannot defend themselves. I must try to mediate for those who have no choice as to whether they live or die at the hands of others. Every life is precious and created in the image of God.
I plead with Moss Group to stop taking in blood money, via tenants who murder unborn children. Remove the abortuary from 10200 Sepulveda Boulevard and rid the property of the stench of death and depraved indifference.
I am praying Moss Group makes the right decision.
I have attached a photo taken today of me standing in front of the building at 10200 Sepulveda Boulevard.
Respectfully and prayerfully submitted,
Tony Miano
