An Important Revision to the 'Courtroom Analogy'

My niece, Allison Pari, is an extraordinary writer. Her blog, Marked Quotations, should be much more widely read than it is. But I'm sure that will change over time--at least if I have anything to do or say about it.

In her most recent post, Forgiving Legree, she artfully takes a climactic scene in "Uncle Tom's Cabin," parallels the life and death of Tom with the Suffering Servant of Isaiah 53, and then transitions to making a very important observation and revision to the courtroom analogy I so often use in evangelism.

Yes, I'm a very proud uncle, but I'm also very blessed by this beautiful young lady's writing. I believe you will be, too.
