If I Lived In . . . This Would be My Church Home

One of the great blessings of traveling the world to preach the gospel in the open-air is the opportunity the Lord gives me to interact, fellowship, serve, and be served by local churches within the Body of Christ. So great is the blessing that I often find myself, after spending time with a church, saying, "If I lived in . . . this would be my church home."

The churches listed below does not appear in order of preference or based on the level of the church's level of financial support to Cross Encounters Ministries and the Miano Family. In order to maintain personal integrity and the integrity of this list, only churches with which I have had actual, personal contact (i.e. visit and fellowship, street evangelism partnership, evangelism training provided, etc.) appear on this list. There are churches that support the ministry, but that I have not yet visited. We are, of course, very grateful for their financial partnership. But until I actually visit and physically serve these churches they will not appear on this list.

This post will appear in the right-side column of this blog under the heading "Recommended Churches." Check this list often. As I travel and serve churches, and as my memory is jogged and churches I have visited in the past come to mind, I will no doubt add to the below list.

Faith Community Church (Newhall, CA)*

Beaverton Grace Bible Church (Beaverton, OR)

Longview Community Church (Longview, Alberta, CAN)

GraceLife London (London, UK)

Woolwich Evangelical Church (Woolwich, London, UK)

Pendleton Street Baptist Church (Greenville, SC)

The Home Church (Campbell, CA)

Christ Is King Baptist Church (Syracuse, NY)

Christ Fellowship Bible Church (St. Louis, MO)

  1. I must say that I am surprised not to see the Metropolitan Tabernacle of London (formerly Spurgeon's now Peter Masters) listed. I'm stateside, but went to two services there while in London.
