Inside the Mind of a Murderer

Don and I were at our post on Tuesday morning, outside the Family Planning and Associates Medical Group Murder Mill, in Mission Hills, CA. Shortly after a heartbreaking conversation with a young lady named Maggie, we were approached by a man who had earlier escorted a woman into the abortuary to murder her child. Earlier, we had pleaded with the African American couple walking from their car to the back door of the abortuary. As we pleaded with them not to murder their baby, the man shouted back with a smile on his face, "This isn't my first murder."

The man initially refused to shake our hands or give us his name. When men do this outside the abortion clinic, it is not merely an indication of their unfriendliness. No, it is much more than that. It is an indication of their shame. They don't want us to know who they are. It's not that they're afraid of us. In this case, the man was larger enough to snap me like a twig, if he had chosen to do so. It's that they know what they're doing is wrong.

The man, who admitted to lying to us when he identified himself as "Fred," came out of the abortuary to chastise us for "yelling" at people. His recommendation was that we simply stand quietly with out signs. Several times during the conversation, I pointed out to Fred his utter hypocrisy and lack of credibility. Here he was, a man participating in the murder of a child, telling us how we should talk to murderers.

Below, you will find the audio for our conversation with "Fred." Listen for yourself and, in doing so, step inside the mind of a murderer.
